International and Area Studies Research Community

This site is for students doing research and writing in Northwestern's International and Area Studies Programs--International Studies (IS), Asian and Middle East Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and European Studies. We can  share announcements, resources, and questions related to doing research abroad, doing international research, writing proposals, sharing experiences, etc.  My hope is that this website will be a common space to bring together our multidisciplinary backgrounds and help students better learn proposal, grant, and research writing. In addition, students enrolled in SARP (the Study Abroad Research Program), the Next Steps Workshop, and the IS Honors Program can find specific resources here for research and writing in those areas.
