Prospective Thesis Writers in History

Welcome to the NuWrite community for prospective thesis writers in History.  Members are encouraged to post their questions and comments about the process of developing a thesis topic.  At the same time, they should check out the various tips under "Solving Common Problems" and the vast support base under "Resources."

This community is on hiatus until later in the year, when the History Department begins advising juniors about options for writing a senior thesis.  For now, you are encouraged to consult the resources on the right side of the page.  In particular, the Senior Thesis Preparation Guide provides a detailed view of the process for developing a senior thesis project.  If you are interested in learning more about the thesis program and what goes into pursuing a thesis, please contact Brad Zakarin, the History Department's Honors Coordinator, or speak with one of your faculty mentors from the History Department.
